Attending church with us for the first time can be a little easier when you know what to expect.
Here’s a quick guide to some of the most common questions about our church services.
WHERE DO I GO WHEN I GET THERE?
When you come up the drive way to the church you will see two buildings. The first building is the fellowship hall and the second building with the steeple on top is the sanctuary.
At 10 a.m. everyone meets in the sanctuary to open in prayer then everyone attends their respective Sunday School classes.
The adult class is in the sanctuary with the young adults and high school classes in the fellowship hall. The children's classes are directly behind the platform of the sanctuary.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
We encourage you to come as you are. There is no dress code, but most of our parishioners wear business to business casual attire.
IS THERE SOMETHING FOR MY KIDS?
We have an incredible Sunday School ministry at Mt. Olive Holiness Church. Our goal is to help parents lay a foundation of faith that lasts a lifetime. We have age-appropriate environments for all of your kids, with volunteers who are dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus with your children.
HOW DO SUNDAY MORNINGS WORK?
On Sunday mornings we start Sunday School at 10 a.m. Sunday School last for about 45 minutes. Initially, everyone meets in the Sanctuary for prayer. After prayer everyone goes to their respective classrooms.
After Sunday School everyone meets in the Sanctuary to start the morning service at 11 a.m. Morning worship typically ends around 12:15 p.m. We start our evening worship service at 6 p.m. where all families worship together in the sanctuary.
